Data Subject Rights

Exercise your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is this page for?

This page is for anyone whose personal data Kaiju processes, including:

  • Contributors — if your X/Twitter, Discord, or GitHub activity has been analyzed by Kaiju on behalf of a crypto project, you are a data subject even if you have never visited this website
  • Platform users — administrators and team members who have a Kaiju account

What data might we hold about you?

If you are a contributor tracked by a project using Kaiju, we may have processed:

  • Your public social media profile data (username, display name, bio, avatar URL)
  • Your public posts, replies, and their engagement metrics
  • AI-generated quality scores for individual posts
  • An overall contributor score and tier ranking (Diamond/Gold/Silver/Bronze)
  • Cross-platform identity links (e.g., your X account linked to your Discord username)
  • Account quality/authenticity scores from third-party providers

Not sure if we have your data? Submit an access request below and we will check.

Your rights

Right of access (Art. 15)

Get a copy of all personal data we hold about you, including scores and how they were calculated.

Right to rectification (Art. 16)

Correct inaccurate data. If our records link the wrong accounts or show incorrect profile information, tell us.

Right to erasure (Art. 17)

Request deletion of all your personal data from our systems, including scores, profile data, and identity links.

Right to restriction (Art. 18)

Pause processing of your data while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.

Right to data portability (Art. 20)

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON).

Right to object (Art. 21)

Object to our processing of your data, including profiling and scoring. We must stop unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.

Rights related to automated decisions (Art. 22)

Submit a request

Send your request to our Data Protection Officer. To help us locate your records and respond promptly, include as much of the following as possible:

1. Your identity

Your name and an email address where we can reach you.

2. Your platform handle(s)

The X/Twitter username, Discord username, and/or GitHub username linked to your data. This is how we look up records — the more you provide, the faster we can respond.

3. What you are requesting

Which right you want to exercise: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or human review of an automated decision.

4. Additional context (optional)

If you know which project tracked you, or if you are contesting a specific score, include those details.
